Vallorbe Pivot File and Burnisher for polishing pivots
Our Vallorbe Pivot File and burnisher is Swiss made with precision corners to ensure the perfect finish on your pivot. One edge of the pivot file has a radius for balance staffs. The opposing end of the pivot file has a hardened steel burnisher for the final polishing of the pivot.
The pivot file and burnisher are available in either right or left hand, but be cautious this doesn't represent which hand you use the pivot file with, rather it depends on whether you use the pivot file on top or underneath the pivot. Left hand is for on top of the pivot and right hand is for underneath the pivot.
Sapphire Burnisher for polishing pivots
Our most superior pivot polisher is our sapphire burnisher. Suitable for polishing pivots to a glass finish they have a very slight burnishing grain on them that can be exaggerated with the use of a fine diamond file. These burnishers are a real professional tool and the feedback has been tremendous. If you want immaculate pivots then this is the tool for you.
